• New Primal P9x Now Available to Order

Edit by Admin: In-Stock Now! Shipping out same or next day!

The new Primal P9x 1400 Mhz (1.4 Ghz) per-core Quad Core Tablet PC has just gone up for order on DealsPrime.com

Lots of people are already aware the preview pre-release Primal P9x tablet has out benchmarked the new Ainol Novo 9 Spark significantly, but lots of people are really waiting to know the most important fact about the Primal P9x, and that is when they can order it. Well the good news is that orders are now being taken over at DealsPrime.com

The screen quality of the Primal P9x is the best I've seen on a tablet so far. The P9x also features a CPU speed control governor in the settings menu, so you can set a higher or lower CPU clock speed. I haven't tested the function out yet as I wanted to treat the only preview unit available with extra care. But you can be sure that once the units come into stock at DealsPrime I will be heading down to test this feature out and post a video.

To check out the specifications, view the Primal P9x product page here.

How's the screen resolution? How do movies and games look? I have an Ainol Novo 10 Hero. How would you compare the P9X to that one? Thanks in advance.

I don't have a Hero to compare it with, but I did do some tests with both the P9x and the Ainol Novo Spark side by side. The screen colour and general definition I found to be better on the P9x. Even though the Spark has a higher screen resolution the picture wasn't as good as the P9x.

A good way to compare it is, imagine you have a Sony TV, compared next to another cheaper TV set. While the screen resolution maybe the same on each TV, actual visual appearance between the sets can be obivously better. The actual visual appearance was better on the P9x, especially for watching videos.

Thanks for your quick response. One more thing, are there any custom roms for this tablet? Is it rooted? Do you know when the 4.1 update will be released? Thanks!

No custom ROMS yet, but give it a bit more time, as it's only just been shipping out to buyers the past week I believe. I'll post news the moment any new firmware is announced from Primal

I suggest for the time being avoid rooting it, as no stock firmware has been released yet for re-flashing should anything require a re-install.

How's the wifi? I've noticed that it's not as strong or good on my Ainol Hero 10. I don't know if that's the case with most Chinese tablets or just Ainol...

I've not recieved any reports of WiFi issues related to the device yet from any users Lagunes, so it's looking good

      Hello tap28,

Primal are a new tablet and Electronics manufacturer, however I'm informed it's composed of a number of veterans from this field. So expect a lot more great products from them this year. I heard their official website will launch shortly. I will post a news snippet once they have it up.
