The Elf II has arrived. I ordered it from Dealsprime.com. They were kind enough to include an EU usb charger because Ainol does not give one with the Elf. Ainol gives you the USB cable that you can plug in a PC and charge the battery that way but it is only 500mA, the separate USB charger outputs 2000mA so it charges the Elf 4 times faster.
The box had only a few contents: the Elf II, USB OTG cable, USB data/charger cable, headphones. That's it. For the price I didn't expect more.
On android devices the /system/framework/framework-res.apk contains the elements of the Graphical User Interface. The images inside this file can be easily modified.
1. Copy the framework-res.apk from your android device (or ROM) to your PC. Create a backup from the original framework-res.apk.
2. Extract the framework-res.apk with winRAR to a folder of your choice (this folder will contain the source images that you will be editing/replacing)

The ibex Flytouch 5 now has a stable large user base. Recently the Stock Android 4.0.3 ICS update was released and this has now come out of beta and been made available for download from the apad.tv flytouch 5 support forum.
But not only has the FT5 now got 4.0.3 ICS update, its also got an excellent custom modified ROM created by apad.tv user Gaboros, who is now a well known developer in the Android Tablet scene. His work is supported
by veteran ROM developers like FlanFlinger
